Asbestos Awareness

Overview

Asbestos is an incredibly hazardous substance that causes serious ill-health to anyone who disturbs it. For this purpose, anyone who is likely to disturb asbestos in their work must have an awareness of the correct health and safety procedures to follow.

Mansfield Fire and Safety Management deliver Asbestos Awareness (Category A) training, which will benefit your Employees to understand the risks associated with the material so that they can avoid work that may disturb asbestos.

This course enables the Employers to comply with the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 and compliance with UK Health and Safety legislation.

This face to face training session will ensure your employees are appropriately trained in order to work safely.

 

Who should attend

Asbestos Awareness training is aimed at maintenance workers such as plumbers, electricians and builders etc, who are likely to come across asbestos in the course of their work.

No experience is required for this course and places are limited to a maximum of 12 per session.

Assessment & certification

For this course there is no formal assessment but delegates must successfully complete the entire course.  Each stage of the course will have a Q&A session.  Each delegate will receive a Mansfield Fire and Safety Management training certificate on completion.
